Dentistry has been my passion in life, and has allowed me to have great satisfaction from helping others. I honestly love to come to work every day and experience the amazement of seeing lives changed.
After more than 28 years of practicing dentistry, I’ve worked alongside a lot of talented individuals and the team which we have in place now is truly exceptional. Each member of my team takes personal responsibility in assuring they are doing their part to make each patient’s experience the best it can be.
Education and Continuing Education
I wanted to become a dentist since I was eight years old. Our family orthodontist made such a difference in my family's lives, and my own dentist was a caring, gentle person who I admired. So, I volunteered in my dentist’s office after school, concentrated more on math and science while in high school and in college at the University of Oklahoma, and eventually got accepted into the University of Oklahoma’s School of Dentistry. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990.
I achieved Fellow status from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007; only seven percent of dentist in the US achieve this distinction. It is achieved by accumulating a significant higher amount of continuing education and passing a stringent written test.
My dedication to continuing education has included the advanced study of Invisalign® (of which I am a Premier Provider), sedation dentistry, dental implants, and CAD/CAM dentistry. These technological advancements have made it possible for people to gain confidence in their smile, overcome their fear of the dentist, regain function by having a full set of healthy teeth, and experience the comfort and efficiency that comes with digital dentistry.

Outside the Office
I grew up in McAlester, Oklahoma, and was active in band and orchestra which led to a music scholarship at the University of Oklahoma playing the viola and piano. After dental school in Oklahoma City, I moved to Owasso and began my lifetime career here in Owasso.
I am happily married and we have raised many cats and dogs throughout the last 30 years together. Lucy is our Miniature Schnauzer who gets spoiled on a daily basis.
Smiles aren’t just part of my work week. In my spare time away from work, I get to keep smiling as I get to hang out with nature - enjoying activities on the water kayaking or hiking on nature trails. I also enjoy listening to music, running in 5Ks, snow skiing, traveling, visiting my wonderful family, and hanging out with friends.
I intend to stay active in life as long as possible and cannot imagine not serving the community in some way. I have so much to be thankful for and want to give back to others in some capacity as long as I possibly can. Throughout the years, I have volunteered on several local boards and non-profits: Owasso Education Foundation, Owasso Chamber of Commerce, Owasso Chapter of American Heart Association, various committees for the City of Owasso, Eastern Oklahoma Donation of Dental Services, Oklahomans for Equality, and Health Outreach Prevention & Education of Tulsa.
